Job Overview
Harvest House is looking for someone passionate about working with solidly biblical resources for Christian readers, and who is committed to these distinctives upheld at Harvest House Publishers: Bible prophecy resources written from a pretribulational and premillennial perspective, and cultural and traditional apologetics resources as well as current issues books that uphold a conservative biblical worldview and that view the Bible as God's inspired, authoritative, and all-sufficient Word.
What you'll do:
- Acquire and develop top-tier nonfiction projects, including the substantive edit.
- Cultivate relationships with authors and agents.
- Shape manuscripts that are theologically sound and culturally relevant.
- Stay attuned to market trends and emerging voices.
- Represent Harvest House at industry events.
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong commitment to conservative evangelical theology.
- Passionate about proclaiming biblical truth in today's world.
- Excellent understanding of apologetics from a biblically conservative worldview and of Bible prophecy from a pretribulational perspective.
- MDiv or BBS preferred; 5+ years in Evangelical Christian publishing or media.
- Skilled communicator, editor, and relationship builder.
- Experience with creating ancillary content such as workbooks is a plus.
