Green River Alliance Church is looking for a soon to be or recent college graduate who is excited about serving Jesus in Wyoming. Check out this position for a one-year Associate Internship.

This part-time opportunity is designed to equip emerging leaders for vocational Christian ministry. Interns will receive hands-on experience in a local church setting, specifically focused on kids and student ministries. Through mentoring, real-life ministry involvement, and leadership development, participants will grow in their personal faith and gain practical tools for long-term ministry.

Interns will be immersed in various aspects of kids and student ministries, taking on meaningful responsibilities and learning through a variety of real-world challenges—all within a supportive, supervised environment. This experience is ideal for students preparing for a future in full-time ministry.

Job Description

An intern is a person who is preparing for vocational Christian service. They will serve in our local church context while receiving on the job training and experience under supervision for one year. Interns will explore all the areas of the kids and student ministries along with overseeing a wide variety of tasks and challenges associated and directly related to the kids and student ministries. They will also be exposed to staff meetings, leader's training meetings, home and hospital visits, budget development, crisis counseling with kids and students (when appropriate), and conflict resolution.
