Job Overview

St Andrew’s is a large Anglican, evangelical, international church, within the Anglican Province of Hong Kong. Located in the heart of busy Kowloon, St Andrew’s has five congregations in English and Mandarin. We are seeking an Associate Minister.

The successful applicant will be a committed Christian in the Reformed evangelical tradition, a humble leader, pastorally warm, hardworking, faithful to the gospel, and already fruitful in a similar role. Essential requirements include:

• Excellence in expository preaching, teaching, and leadership.
• High competence in recruiting, training, and mobilizing leaders and volunteers.
• Formal theological training at a minimum of BTh level.
• Anglican ordination is preferred, but not essential.

Job Description

Key responsibilities:

1. A senior member of the staff team. Regular preaching and leading across our services. Pastoral oversight of one of the congregations.
2. Oversight of the church’s evangelism strategies to proclaim the gospel, equipping members in personal evangelism, and building a culture of personal evangelism. This role also includes gospel ministry in our link schools.
3. Mercy ministries. Oversight of St Andrew’s mercy and justice ministries, including relationships with partner organisations and mobilizing members in volunteering with them.
