First Baptist Church in Greenbrier, TN is seeking a full-time Associate Pastor for Family Ministries. This new position, reporting directly to the Senior Pastor, will have primary responsibility and oversight for all next generation ministries (young families, students, and children). Duties include working with staff and lay leaders to set direction and tone of ministries, planning and coordinating events, and other duties of a pastor such as regular preaching and meeting with members.
The Associate Pastor must meet the qualifications of the office of pastor given in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9, have a deep commitment to God's word, and exhibit a personal commitment to evangelism and missions. A degree from an accredited seminary and/or previous ministry experience is preferred. A competitive compensation package will be provided.
