The person in this role will have the opportunity to leave their mark on everything, from choosing the curriculum for various age groups and developing the program and schedule, to rebranding the current names of the kids' and student ministries (SPLASH and CRASH). Additionally, they will inherit a core team of highly committed volunteers who are excited to support the ministries, the pastor in this role, and what lies ahead in this new season of ministry.

Job Description

The Associate Pastor for NextGen Family Ministry will be an evangelical, prayerful leader who fosters a Christian community by building relationships with NextGen members (students, young adults, and families) within Beck's Church and the broader community. Through evangelical service and outreach, these relationships will strengthen commitment to the church and promote spiritual growth in faith in Jesus Christ. While these duties are not exhaustive, they set a clear expectation and model for the position. As needs arise, responsibilities may be adjusted in consultation with the Senior Pastor.

• Provide leadership for the Christian growth of individuals, students, young adults, families, staff, and the community
• Strengthen and lead the recruitment, training, and support of volunteers for NextGen ministry
• Direct the development and implementation of a vision for NextGen ministry
• Collaborate with other churches, schools, and community organizations to work together in proclaiming the gospel
• Plan events and communicate regularly with students, young adults, and families regarding upcoming events and ministry opportunities
• Organize and oversee all aspects of off-site student events, ensuring safety, coordination, and a spiritually enriching experience
