This new position of Associate Pastor with duties involving youth ministry leadership, worship leadership, and pastoral responsibilities comes at a pivotal time for Friesland Community Church. There is a foundational base in each area of responsibility that will need to be built upon through this pastor's leadership. There are many existing events to work with, as well as room to develop new ministries. The church community is welcoming and ready for this new leader to come in and give a healthy vision to the specific areas. Pastor Darrin has a relational heart and will welcome sharing the leadership and fresh ideas.

Job Description

• The Associate Pastor will serve in a full-time capacity, working closely with the Lead Pastor to shepherd the church body, with a primary focus on youth ministry, discipleship, and worship leadership. This role involves planning and leading youth programs that foster spiritual growth and outreach, mentoring students, and integrating them into the larger church community.
• In addition to youth ministry, the Associate Pastor will oversee worship services, including leading worship teams, participating in service planning, and preaching several times a year. They will help manage the technical aspects of worship, such as sound, livestream, and presentation software. Other responsibilities include equipping adult leaders, supporting church communications and marketing efforts, assisting with event coordination, and managing administrative tasks.
