Job Overview

Grace Church of the Bay Area is located in the San Francisco Bay Area in an area known as the Central Peninsula which is located between San Francisco and San Jose. Considered one of the most unchurched areas of our country, the Central Peninsula is home to very few solid churches.

As a small but growing church, the duties of an Associate Pastor include occasional preaching, counseling, and helping with overseeing and developing ministries such as our Men's Group and Small Groups. As a smaller church, there is much flexibility for an Associate Pastor to use his gifts to develop ministries as he desires (e.g., an adult Sunday School class, missions, etc.).

Due to the cost of living in the Bay Area, salary is negotiable based on the candidate's family situation. Those seeking a part-time or bi-vocational pastorate are welcome to apply.
