We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our ministry team as an Associate Pastor to help us further our mission and engage with our youth and community.

Position Overview:

The Associate Pastor will provide leadership while supporting the pastoral team in fulfilling the vision and mission of Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church. This role involves training, teaching, preaching, leading and growing Discipleship Groups designed to mature spiritual growth and engagement of parents, leadership, youth, and young adults.

Key Responsibilities:

Youth Ministry Leadership:o Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive youth ministry which includes teaching and training for moms, dads, and volunteer leaders in the congregation.

o Recruit, train, and support volunteers and leaders to be involved in youth ministry and congregational ministry.

o Organize and attend Summer Youth Camp.

Preaching and Teaching:o Assist in all avenues of the pastoral ministry in pastoral care through funerals, planning, worship, and the overall function of the church.

o Prepare and deliver engaging and biblically grounded messages to those of the congregation.

Community and Outreach:Engage with local schools, community organizations, and other partners to create opportunities for outreach and service.o Organize and lead community outreaches that involve the congregation.

o Organize and assist the Children's Director with Vacation Bible School.

Administrative Duties:Manage youth ministry budgets, maintain records, and ensure effective communication with parents and church members.Collaborate with other pastoral staff and church leadership to coordinate ministry efforts and address congregational needs.Personal and Professional Development:Stay current with trends and best practices in youth ministry and pastoral care.Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.Performs others duties as assigned by the Pastor.

Qualifications:

A deep, personal commitment to Jesus Christ with a calling from God and a demonstrated passion for youth ministry.Bachelor's degree in theology, ministry, education, or a related field (Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred).Previous experience in youth ministry, including leadership roles, is highly desirable.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with and inspire youth, families, and the congregation.Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.A positive, adaptable attitude and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.Working Conditions:
