Lake Shore Baptist is prayerfully seeking an Associate Pastor to serve alongside our Senior Pastor. The Associate Pastor will be responsible for several key ministry responsibilities: church discipleship, volunteer development, outreach and missions, and various pastoral and administrative functions to support the church.

Lake Shore Baptist Church Mission Statement: Glorifying Jesus Christ by proclaiming biblical truth and making disciples who love and serve Him. POSITION TITLE: Associate Pastor REPORTS TO: Senior Pastor. PAY STATUS: Full-time. QUALIFICATIONS:The Associate Pastor must be a committed Christian whose life demonstrates the Biblical qualifications of a pastor as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-10. He must have a clear conviction of his call to Christian ministry, as well as the full support of his spouse, if married. He must live a lifestyle in agreement with our statement of faith (The Baptist Faith & Message, 2000). Lastly, the Associate Pastor must have completed a bachelor's degree in a theological or ministry-related field, and have experience serving and/or leading in the local church. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:– Effectively organize and lead people, teams, and events.– Ability to preach and teach the Word of God.– Possess strong communication skills.– Work effectively with other members of the ministry team and members of the church.– Exhibit strict confidentiality with information regarding the church and its members. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:– Intentionally develop and cultivate a growing personal relationship with God.– Regularly pray for the church and the community. – Create, implement, and oversee a leadership development pipeline to strengthen, support, and grow volunteer teams at LSBC.– Oversee the discipleship pathway of LSBC, including adult bible studies, home groups, and more.– Responsible for executing first-time guest follow-up processes.– Take a leading role in the oversight and execution of on-campus outreach events.– Build the missions ministry with a focus on local and global missions.– Preach 2-4 times each year, or as needed.– Support the Senior Pastor's ongoing pastoral care duties such as hospital and home visitations, pastoral care appointments, etc.– Attend Church Council and staff meetings, as scheduled.– Perform other administrative and related duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor.

SALARY RANGE: $70-75k plus benefits.
