• Master of Divinity degree
• Able to preach in Cantonese and carry conversation in Mandarin and English preferred
• Over two years of pastoral experience preferred
• Over five years of church ministry leadership experience preferred
• Gifted in preaching and teaching preferred
• Good communication and people skills

Job Description

• Deliver sermons regularly at church’s Sunday worship services and at special events
• Teach Bible classes on Sundays and seminars for various occasions
• Lead Bible studies, discipleship classes, and theological discussions to nurture the spiritual growth of church members
• Provide leadership to the small group, prayer and evangelism ministry
• Disciple and raise up leaders and coworkers
• Perform pastoral care duties like provide counseling, guidance, and support the congregation; visit and pray with sick or elderly members; perform wedding ceremonies and funeral services; provide one-on-one mentoring and training to church members; visit church members and newcomers
• Support the Senior Pastor in his administrative and ministry duties and coworking with other members of the ministry team
• Engage in evangelistic efforts to reach out to non-believers and share the Gospel message within the Chinese community and beyond
• Engage in ongoing theological education, personal development, and spiritual disciplines to deepen knowledge, faith, and maturity as a pastor
