The Associate Pastor / Minister to Youth and Young Adult is a Part-time position (Bi-Vocational)

Oversee all Christian Community Church ministries to Youth and Young Adult (ages newborn through 12th grade and young married)

Stay informed about cultural trends and challenges to Christian living (e.g., social media, non-Biblical

sexuality, etc.) of which parents and children should be aware. In collaboration with the Senior Pastor, provide age-appropriate informational and discipleship training for children, youth, and parents regarding a Biblical response to cultural trends and pitfalls.

Plan and conduct worship and leadership of Wednesday evening Worship and Sunday morning small groups (Sunday School).

Strong communicator and communication skills, Teachable and approachable (1 Corinthians 2:13-14).

Plan events and activities that encourage community building within the group.

Possess an understanding of the digital environment in which students are living, as well as leadership to students and parents in how best to navigate that environment, Including live stream activities.
