Role and Responsibilities
Under the leading and direction of the Lead Pastor:
1. Pastoral Care and Counseling: Provide spiritual guidance and support to congregants through counseling, visitations, and prayer. Offer comfort and assistance during challenging life circumstances and celebrate joys and victories together.
2. Elder Responsibilities: Work collaboratively to main oversight of the church and body of believers. Participate in preaching and teaching as we seek to equip ordinary people to know and share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
3. Discipleship and Small Groups: Encourage spiritual growth and discipleship among church members through the facilitation and oversight of small groups, Bible studies, and discipleship programs, as we seek to assist others in connecting, learning, giving and growing.
4. Community Engagement: Participate actively in engagement efforts and initiatives to reach the local community, foster relationships, and demonstrate God's love through practical service opportunities.
5. Administration: Assist with administrative tasks related to church operations and ministry, such as managing communication, maintaining records, and helping with event coordination.
6. Worship: Regularly lead a contemporary worship team on Sunday mornings, while seeking to grow and develop each team member in the process.
