The Disciple-making pastor will

• Create a culture of Disciple-making.
• Recruit and train volunteers for the ministries under his oversight.
• Counsel and disciple congregants.
• Mentor church planters.
• Preach and teach.
• Represent the church in local events and ministerial relationships.

Job Description

General Pastoral Duties and Responsibilities

1. Overseeing and leading Disciple-making activities including but not limited to:

1. leading the Life Group Ministry.
2. developing a personal Disciple-making program for one-on-one mentorship.
3. helping people identify, develop, and use their gifts and talents to advance God's Word.
4. planning intergenerational gatherings to deepen relationships between men and women of all ages.
5. working with other ministry leaders to bring people from various backgrounds to joyfully serve together.

1. Planning and overseeing monthly and annual activities for all age groups and families. These activities may include camps, conferences, service projects, mission trips, and other activities which enhance the overall goals of the Disciple-making ministry.
