Associate Pastor of Students and Families

Job Description: The Associate Pastor of Students and Families is responsible for giving directions to the overalleducational and activities ministry of grades six through twelve and for college and career agedindividuals to promote evangelism and discipleship by planning, promoting, coordinating,conducting and evaluating the youth activities of the church.Position Summary: To proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, to teach the Bible, to buildrelationships with Students and their parents that develop passionate Christ followers whodevelop passionate Christ followers, to recruit and train volunteer leaders for student and familyministry, and to implement the administrative aspects of Students and Career Ministry as itrelates to the entire church.

Qualifications A disciple of Jesus Christ who personifies a growing relationship with Him Demonstrates a genuine love and passion for serving the Lord specifically with studentsand families Believes and articulates a personal calling to serve in the specific ministry of studentsand families Committed to a lifestyle that is holy and a Godly model for students and families Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills Demonstrates an attitude of servant leadership and humility An ability to recruit, develop and shepherd those involved in the student and familiesministry A team player able to lead teams of workers from the entire church body Ability to adapt to ministry needs, growth, and change Willingness to handle conflicts in a Biblical manner Meets the Scriptural qualifications of a pastor Ordained or willing to be ordained Willingness to heartily agree with FCC's doctrine and mission
