Revival Baptist Church is a multi-ethnic and multi-lingual church in Vancouver, WA, committed to serving a diverse congregation. Our first service is conducted in English, and we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Associate Pastor to lead and develop the English Ministry. The Associate Pastor will play a pivotal role in guiding the church's English-speaking population, focusing on preaching, evangelism, leadership development, and fostering a unified ministry philosophy alongside the Slavic Ministry.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Preaching: Lead and preach during Revival Baptist Church's English services.
• Evangelism: Organize and develop evangelical outreach to the English-speaking community, strengthening the church's impact in this demographic.
• Leadership Development: Identify and nurture potential leaders from the English Ministry, focusing on their growth in preaching, leading Bible studies, and managing small groups.
• Youth & Young Families: Develop and mentor young leaders and families, particularly those involved in English Ministry, helping them grow in faith and leadership.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with church leadership to create and implement goals and strategies for the English Ministry that align with the overall mission and vision of Revival Baptist Church, including the Slavic Ministry.
• Integration: Foster a unified ministry approach, integrating the English Ministry into the broader mission of Revival Baptist Church.

Qualifications:

Strong commitment to the mission and values of Revival Baptist Church. A formal theological seminary degree is required. Agreement with and adherence to Baptist background and beliefs. Previous experience in church leadership, particularly in preaching and ministry development. Ability to mentor and develop young leaders and families in the English-speaking congregation. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with church leadership and staff. A passion for evangelism and outreach within the English-speaking community.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $66,000 per year for a .75 FTE.
