Job Description
• Do the work of an elder. Preach, teach, disciple, counsel, train, marry, bury, etc. • Regularly disciple church members and train them to disciple others. • Equip members to be the primary disciple-makers of their children. • Build a culture of discipleship and counseling. Mobilize more people to pursue ACBC certification. • Teach regularly for Sunday School, Midweek, and occasionally to college and youth. • Oversee Adult Bible Study with initial and ongoing training. • Be intimately involved in the administration of our membership process. • Help build out a Residency/Internship program to develop leaders. • Oversee the part time staff that leads children and youth ministry. • Assist the Lead Pastor as needs arise and available to perform other duties as assigned by the elders.
