Job Overview

Trinity Park Church seeks to hire a full-time Associate Pastor with an emphasis on youth ministry. The successful candidate should be an individual who has felt God’s calling to serve and lead with conviction, prayer, and humility. TPC seeks a candidate who is engaging, prayer-focused, and a biblically faithful teacher. Responsibilities will be split between (i) youth ministry, including coordinating and developing programs particularly for grades 6-12; and (ii) another ministry area reflecting the candidate’s passion and giftings. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Pastor, offering support in planning and executing church events, services, and programs. TPC aims to provide support to this position especially in the form of early-career mentoring and continuing education.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Oversee the TPC youth ministry (6th-12th grade) 
  • Lead a team of volunteers and staff. 
  • Establish strong relationships with parents of students. 
  • Organize services, events, and discipleship opportunities 
• Participate in the life of the church as a member and leader. 
• Welcome and assimilate newcomers and visitors to become part of the church.  
• Attend required staff events (meetings, retreats, etc.) 
• Assist in managing staff, coordinating volunteers, and overseeing day-to-day church operations.  
• Administrative responsibilities – assist with the church’s general administration, including communications, facility needs, and social media. 
• Work closely with our School Ministry Outreach Committee.  
• This position may be called upon to participate in other areas of the church as needed or deemed fitting by the senior leadership team.
