At First Baptist Church of Barnesville, we are a close-knit community of multiple generations. Our church is deeply dedicated to serving our neighborhood and the nations through the Gospel mission. We are currently seeking an Associate Pastor Worship Leadership. This position will direct and manage all elements of the worship experiences in our multi-generational church. Any candidate must possess strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and engage the congregation in and through worship. This position will also lead the music ministry while providing guidance and support for all worship teams. Qualifications for this position shall also include:

• Affirms a testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing personal relationship with Him.
• Acknowledges a clear understood of calling to the Gospel ministry.
• Holds a Bachelor's Degree in music, theology, or other worship related ministry. A seminary degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Music Ministry or Worship Leadership.
• Demonstrates proficiency in playing at least one instrument and possesses strong vocal skills.
• Gifted with a knowledge of different styles of music.
• Possesses a heart for the spiritual growth and discipling of those under their pastoral leadership.
• Experienced with the use of technology in worship such as lighting, sound systems, video projection, and worship software.
• Proves to have the ability to perform pastoral responsibilities such as preaching, teaching, and providing spiritual guidance and support to church members.
• Collaborates well with other church staff members and supports all other church ministries.
• Skilled in organization, administration, and interpersonal relationships.
• Desires to stay updated with current music trends and techniques.
• Ordained.
