Associate Pastor – Youth/Outreach
The RoleThe Associate Pastor will serve as a key part of the pastoral team, helping provide leadership, preaching, and teaching in key ministries, pastoral care, and other pastoral duties as assigned under the supervision of the Lead Pastor. The key areas that the Associate Pastor will oversee are the Youth Ministry, Welcome Team and Assimilation, and Outreach. The Associate Pastor will...· Lead our High School and Middle School Ministries, providing pastoral leadership for the students through teaching, relational discipleship, mentorship, and equipping parents to disciple their students.· Coach, recruit, and equip all members of the youth ministry team.· Oversee the front-end assimilation process in the life of FBC. Establish processes and systems for effectively welcoming and assimilation visitors and newcomers.· Work with the Lead Pastor to create a vision for an effective Community Outreach Ministry. This will include recruiting and equipping the members of FBC to serve and show the love of Christ to our local community.· Create a place of community and discipleship for our church's young marrieds and help improve the church's ability to reach young marrieds in our community.
