Job Title: Bi-Vocational Lead Pastor

About Wazeecha: Church at Wazeecha (Wazeecha means "Land of the lake is in") is located in central Wisconsin in a blue-collar city of about 19, 000 people. We average about 35-45 people every Sunday during our service. Our church was started as a house church about 12 years ago and we became an established church in 2014. Our church family is a welcoming church who values biblical preaching and teaching, discipleship and community involvement. We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.

Key Responsibilities:

– Lead and conduct Sunday morning Service

– Prepare and preach biblically centered sermons

– Work alongside elders and leadership team

– Lead church with vision and direction

– Provide pastoral care through visitation and counseling

– Participate with church functions

Required Qualifications:

· A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a passionate devotion to Him and His Church.

· A life that reflects the spiritual, personal, and character qualifications of an Elder/Overseer as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:1–7, 2 Timothy 3:16-17 and Titus 1:6–9, along with evident fruit of the Spirit as described in Galatians 5:22. He must be above reproach and committed to a life of moral purity.

· A deep commitment to prayer and Scripture. He should be a man of prayer and the Word, attentive to the leading of the Holy Spirit within Church at Wazeecha. His personal disciplines should include daily prayer and Bible reading for spiritual vitality and protection against sin.

· A ministry that is Spirit-empowered, prayer-saturated, Scripture-guided, and marked by the character of Christ—all for the glory of God.

· A wholehearted embrace of Wazeecha's biblical and theological convictions, as stated in the church's Statement of Faith. He must be fully aligned with and committed to the mission, vision, of Wazeecha, as defined in the church constitution.
