Job Description

Turkey Branch is currently seeking applicants for the position of a Bi-Vocational Pastor. This person must be a man who satisfies the qualifications set forth in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9. Must believe and adhere to the statements of faith in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. Applicants must be ordained (or licensed) and set apart for ministry.

A clear communicatorHaving a teachable spirit with a willingness to seek the counsel of othersAbility to provide administrative help for the ministryExperience and ability to recruit, train, and develop leadersA commitment to lifelong learning to enhance his gifting and ministry skill setWell-grounded in historic Christian faith and doctrine with post-secondary, theological training to equip him for pastoral ministry; not required but preferredRepresent Church at Middle Baptist Association functions and/or meetingsCompensation:

This is a part-time, salaried position that may require outside employment or income from another source. Compensation ranges from $35,000 to $40,000 annually, depending upon education and experience.
