Bi-vocational Pastor Wanted – Barrett's Creek Southern Baptist Church

Barrett's Creek Missionary Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking the man God has called to serve as our next Senior Pastor.

We are a Christ-centered, Bible-believing Southern Baptist congregation dedicated to spreading the Gospel, discipling believers, and serving our community. We desire a pastor with a shepherd's heart who is faithful to God's Word and committed to leading both spiritually and prayerfully while balancing ministry with outside employment.

Salary

Beginning annual salary – $6000 – $6500.

Biblical Qualifications (1 Timothy 3:1–7; Titus 1:7–9):

• A man called of God, above reproach, temperate, self-controlled, and hospitable.

• Able to teach and defend the truth of Scripture.

• Not given to greed or anger, but gentle and patient in spirit.

• A man of prayer who leads by example in faith and integrity.

Expectations:

• Preach and teach the Word of God (2 Timothy 4:2).

• Provide pastoral care to the congregation (1 Peter 5:2–3).

• Lead with humility, seeking God's will for the church's growth and outreach.

• Lead with deacons and members to strengthen the mission and ministries of the church.

Barrett's Creek Baptist Church has a strong heritage of faith and fellowship, with a history of planting strong churches. We long for a shepherd who will encourage us to walk faithfully with Christ and equip us to reach the lost. We are in a season of renewal, looking for God's man to help rebuild this church.
