Reports to: Church Body; works closely with Church Leadership Doctrinal Affiliation: Must affirm the Baptist Faith & Message (2000) Primary Responsibilities Preach biblically sound, Spirit-led sermons and lead worship gatherings Administer the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord's Supper Provide pastoral care and spiritual counseling to members and families Be an active presence in Vernon and lead the church in local outreach and missions Collaborate with church leadership to guide the vision and ministries of the church Serve as moderator for church business meetings Qualifications A baptized believer called to pastoral ministry Strong commitment to Scripture and the Lordship of Jesus Christ Approachable, relational, and passionate about discipleship and evangelism A heart for small-town ministry and the ability to serve bivocationally Experience in preaching, shepherding, and church leadership is preferred Why Eastside?
