Riverside Baptist Church in Havana, Florida, is prayfully seeking a Bivocational Pastor to shepherd our Christ-centered, mission-driven congregation located in Gadsden County and 15 miles north of our capitol in Tallahassee, Florida. Riverside is a loving and welcoming body of believers dedicated to worship service, and outreach in our community and beyond.

Position Details:

• Status: Bivocational
• Compensation: Can be discussed with search committee
• Reports to: Church Body; works closely with Church Leadership
• Doctrinal Affiliation: Must affirm the Baptist Faith & Message (2000)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Preach biblically sound, Spirit-led sermons and lead worship gatherings
• Administer the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord's Supper
• Provide pastoral care and spiritual counseling to members and families
• Be an active presence in Havana and lead the church in local outreach and missions
• Collaborate with church leadership to guide the vision and ministries of the church
• Serve as moderator for church business meetings

Qualifications:

• A baptized believer call to pastoral ministry
• Strong commitment to Scripture and the Lordship of Jesus Christ
• Approachable, relational, and passionate about discipleship and evangelism
• A heart for small-town ministry and the ability to serve bivocationally
• Experience in preaching, shepherding, and church leadership in preferred
