Business Manager or Stewardship Director

Job Overview

This position serves our team by providing careful oversight of operations and fiscal reporting with the desire to care for, serve, and enable ministry leaders and congregants. Ideal candidates would for a former Business Manager or Pastor with Personnel and Project Management experience and basic bookkeeping skills.

Job Description

Fiscal Management (50%): Develop and implement budgets ensuring that the ministry is on track with financial planning and goals. This includes using budgeting software to maintain accurate financial reporting.

Project/Facility Management (35%): Oversee maintenance department including project management and maintenance staff personnel ensuring projects are completed on time and within budgeted targets and necessary facility/property compliance.

Personnel Management (15%): Lead in creating and overseeing policies and procedures with employees including Health Benefits, Salaries, and compliance needs.

Reports & Management:

Reports to the Senior Pastor and Consults with the Deacons and finance team. Work with the Executive Team (Pastors, Academy Administrator, Camp Director). Manages 5 individuals: Financial Secretary (Payroll, A/P, A/R) and 4 Maintenance staff.
