Campus Pastor – Bartlett, IL

Job Overview

POPLAR CREEK CAMPUS PROFILE

Originally founded in 1993 God has continually cared for Poplar Creek Church (PCC) through a variety of challenging circumstances. In 2020 the Church hired a new Lead Pastor and was full of hope to revitalize the church and reach the community of Bartlett. The unexpected onset of the COVID pandemic impacted the church deeply, the outcome was waning attendance, missional drift, and financial struggle. In 2021 the Lead Pastor and the Elder Board of PCC reached out to Glen Ellyn Bible Church (GEBC) proposing the possibility of PCC becoming a second campus of GEBC. After a lot of prayer, conversation, and a capital campaign GEBC paid off the PCC mortgage and legally adopted PCC in February of 2023, making it a campus of GEBC. The Poplar Creek Campus has a modern building, with a newly renovated worship center and current attendance is 80-100 people. It sits on 9 acres of prime real-estate, right on Schick Road.
