As the Center Kids Director, you will work to execute our vision for Center Kids, coming alongside parents to support them in the discipleship of their children. This vision includes providing age appropriate, Christ-centered, biblical instruction for kids birth-6th grade during our Sunday gatherings.

Job Description

Recruitment and Resourcing of Volunteer Teachers – The Center Kids director works to recruit volunteers from among the Center Church partners, who are trained and resourced to teach our children. This involves processing applications, background checks, and any ongoing training and support of volunteer teachers.

Curriculum- The Center Kids director will select curriculums that help our kids learn the truth of God's word. You will work with the Elders to ensure that curriculum is aligned with the theology and doctrine of Center Church. You will work to resource parents to continue teaching their children beyond our gathering and will commit to regular prayer for the salvation of Center Church's kids.

Scheduling, Policies and Procedures- The Center Kids director ensures that classroom teachers are scheduled each month and this schedule is communicated. This also involves the preparation of curriculum and classrooms. As the oversight for the ministry, the director is responsible for implementing all policies and procedures that are outlined in the Center Kids Handbook. This is to ensure a safe, secure, and loving environment for the kids of Center Church.

Cultivating Relationships- has a heart to develop intentional relationship with people in our church so that they might flourish in their gifting and spiritual health. This includes working with other staff and teams to foster unity and support for vision implementation as well as church partners and visitors.

Discipleship- As a part of the staff team one of the key callings of leadership is to be committed to pouring into the lives of others on a regular basis through relational discipleship.
