Children’s Director

West Side Nazarene Church in Wichita, KS is seeking a paid, part-time Children’s Director to further the mission of the church and reach children for Christ through children’s ministries in a Nazarene/Wesleyan atmosphere. A church with the capacity to grow, located on a major street in the largest city in Kansas, West Side’s mission is: LIVE like Jesus, LOVE people and give hope, and GROW through the power of the Holy Spirit. Job Requirements:

• 20 hours per week
• Be responsible for selecting curriculum for weekly lessons on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings
• Organizing Vacation Bible School
• Chaperoning at summer camps for the children
• Overseeing children’s performances at church
• Organizing volunteers and planning for children’s services and events
• Fostering the spiritual development of the children and volunteers
