FBC Kerrville is looking for a full time Children's Minister/Director. This person must have a strong love for children and a parent-equipping philosophy to oversee nursery to 5th grade.

Education/Experience

Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalentMasters degree (or pursuing) in Children's Ministry preferred4+ years of related experience

AdministrationProvide a safe and caring environment where kids can develop a love for Christ, a love for the church and build lasting friendshipsPlan for the following weekly events:Sunday Morning classes of all agesWednesday night classes of all ages Direct oversight to programs, including, but not limited to:Vacation Bible SchoolKids CampsTrunk-R-TreatEaster eventCommunity outreaches and various events through the yearParent Equipping Seminars Plan annual budgets for children's ministry

EquippingBuild strong relationships with children's leaders and parents Partner with parents to equip them with tools to assist them in reaching and teaching their children Provide regular training for all leadershipCounsel children and their parents on questions and decisions regarding salvation and baptism Reach out to first time guests through calls and lettersAttend school performances, lunches and special events as appropriate Any other duties as assigned
