Job Description
FBC, Tampa is a multi-generational, multi-ethnic church whose mission is to connect people to a thriving life in Christ. The Children’s Ministry (Preschool – 5th Grade) is healthy, growing, and a vital part of the mission of FBC Tampa. We are seeking a proven leader and faithful discipler of children and their parents to join our ministry team as our Children’s Minister.
Qualifications:
- Clear call to serve the kingdom of God through the local church
- Master’s Degree or Christian Educator’s Degree or commensurate combination of education and experience
- Commitment and passion for working effectively with children and their families
- Ability to effectively communicate with children and their parents
- Effective communicator of Biblical truth
- Proven ability to plan and execute programs and events that challenge, educate, and serve while helping to accomplish the church’s mission
- Proven ability to lead ministry teams and volunteers
