Job Description

The Children’s Minister will provide spiritual leadership and guidance to the children (birth through 5th grade) of Parkhills Baptist Church. This role involves leading and coordinating various children’s/preteen ministries, sharing the Gospel, beginning the discipleship process, organizing events and activities, and building relationships with children and their families.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a relational vision caster who can breathe new life into the children’s ministry. This man or woman will be someone that is Biblically conservative, and mature enough to relate to a variety of demographics.

The Ideal candidate for this role will have these traits:

• Vision-caster. Can revitalize and breathe fresh life into the ministry.
• Outgoing and Relational – A “Pied Piper” of sorts.
• Biblically conservative.
• Able to relate to a traditional and affluent culture.
• A person who can help reach young families.
