Snover Heritage Church, located in the Thumb of Michigan, is seeking a part-time Children's Ministry Coordinator to help us build and lead a vibrant, Christ-centered ministry for kids. We're looking for someone with a heart for sharing God's Word, a passion for seeing children grow in faith, and the ability to lead and support volunteers.

Job Description

The Children's Ministry Coordinator will oversee and coordinate all aspects of children's ministry, from Sunday mornings to special events. This person will develop a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where children can learn about Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee weekly children's programs and lessons (nursery through elementary).

• Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers.

• Ensure all safety and child protection procedures are followed.

• Communicate regularly with parents and church leadership.

• Coordinate special events such as Vacation Bible School, holiday programs, and outreach activities.

• Select or develop biblically sound curriculum aligned with the church's doctrine.

Qualifications:

• Personal relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to biblical truth.

• Experience working with or leading children's programs (preferred).

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to lead and encourage volunteers.

• Willingness to affirm and abide by the doctrine and beliefs of Snover Heritage Church.
