Children's Ministry Director
First Baptist Church is seeking a fulltime Children's Ministry Director. Here at FBC Purvis we are passionate about Jesus and His gospel. We are looking for a coordinator to join our team and to come alongside parents and families in the discipleship of the children God has entrusted to us.
Expectations:
Oversee the children's ministry (birth through 6th grade) in a manner consistent with our vision and mission
Serve as a greeter on Sundays and Wednesdays by engaging with children, parents, and leaders as they arrive and leave
Recruit and train qualified volunteers and develop and mobilize a team of ministry leaders
Maintain a safe and clean environment
Plan and orchestrate special events for children and/or families
Strong in communication, teaching, and administrative skills
Able to relate to kids, parents, leaders, and staff
Team Player
Innovator and self-starter
Teachable and flexible
