Children's Ministry Director (Part-Time)Covenant Kids offered to: (age Birth – 5th grade)

Job Description:

Develop, coordinate, promote and implement a quality Christian education program in the following:

• Children's worship services
• Wednesday night program
• Vacation Bible School
• Special Events: Easter egg hunt, Seasonal Events, Upward basketball (assist in scheduling)
• Sunday School
• Sunday night program

Build a relationship with children and their families, with the intention of their social and spiritual development

Instruct and train children to understand and implement the bible in their lives

Recruit and train the volunteer staff who are associated with carrying out these programs

Prepare frequent promotional and communication materials

Work with Pastorial Staff and volunteers to effect a seamless and coordinated discipleship process that supports programming from infants through 5th grade

Lead the Children's Ministry Team in the design and implementation of the Children's Ministry Curriculum that supports the mission and vision of NCFC.

Communicate with Pastoral staff weekly

Complete other duties as assigned by the Pastorial staff

Qualifications:

• Must be a devoted follower of Christ, and have a definite call to children's ministry
• Will consider experience and/or education
