Job Title: Children's Ministry, New Song Kids Director Reports To: Executive Pastor A. Job Objective To lead and oversee leaders, servants, and children in becoming fully devoted followers of Christ, through overseeing Children's activities and services. B. Qualifications  Strong people skills.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Strong computer skills.  Excellent organizational skills.  Experience in leading a children's ministry in a medium-large church (church over 600).  Spiritual gifts in leadership, administration, teaching.  Ability to work with Children's ministry staff to execute the vision of New Song Kids ministry.  Ability to develop strong relationships with parents.  Endorse and support New Song's mission, vision, values, and statement of faith.  Remain a member in good standing of New Song Community Church. C. Responsibilities  Champion children's ministry with staff and families.  Responsible for providing resources and direction for Children's weekend services.  Oversee the Kids Ministry Team including hiring, equipping, meeting monthly, support weekly (as needed), provide resources and help solve issues and help invite and refer team members.  Ensure that security and safety measures are in place to protect children at all times. Maintain SP4K policies and procedures and ensure availability of instruction regularly.  Interface with children's team to thank, coach, counsel and connect.  Design and develop improvements in assimilating families, disciplining children, inviting and equipping team members and leadership development of staff, equipping leaders and discipleship within the Three Relationship process.  Develop the ministry by growing new leaders, making improvements and looking ahead to solve upcoming issues.  Leads, coaches, and counsels' parents and leaders, as needed.  Endorses and manages the implementation of curriculum.  Provides budget guidance and works within the approved annual budget striving to reduce as much as possible.  Plays a key role in Kid's Camp and Beach Baptism BBQ.  Oversees children events including; Family Breakfasts, Easter Egg Stuffing Party, Spring Carnival, Family Game Night, Halloween Fest and Kids Christmas Party.  Provides child dedication education to families and coordinates the occasions.  Ensure necessary supplies are stocked in every space at all times for all events.  Works closely with the Next Gen Pastor to ensure smooth transitions from elementary into middle school  Other duties as assigned by the Executive Pastor. D. Relationships  Reports to the Executive Pastor.  Coordinates with Pastors and other church staff as needed
