Job Description:

Childrens Director/Pastor: Fraley Memorial Baptist Church in Gastonia, NC is seeking a part-time children's ministry director / pastor. We are a growing congregation whose purpose is to lead individuals into a dynamic relationship with Jesus and help propel them forward in their spiritual journey. We are devoted to fostering spiritual development, building a sense of community, and equipping our members to impact the world with the transformative love and teachings of Jesus Christ. The children's ministry director / pastor will lead children's ministry in all aspects. We are SBC affiliated and in agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 with an average worship attendance of 120+. Position Qualifications:

Baptized Christian and maturing follower of Jesus Christ • Teachable spirit, cooperative, and positive attitude • A servant's heart and willingness to serve both adults and children • Desire to personally share the gospel and equip others to do the same • Training/Equipping others to accurately articulate the gospel • Strong execution, focus and attention to detail • Ability to connect relationally with others • Strong work ethic, proactive, and able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Comfortable working independently without supervision • Ability to delegate • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to work in a remote environment • Strong communication skills; articulate verbally and in writing

Additional Expectations for all Leadership within FMBC: • Church membership at FMBC and agreement with church covenant • Share the vision of FMBC to fulfill the Great Commission with integrity and passion • Attendance at worship services & bible study • Participation in the prayer warrior ministry
