Position Summary:We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and spiritually grounded Children's Ministry Director to lead and grow our Southridge Kids program (Birth–5th Grade). The ideal candidate will be passionate about reaching children with the Gospel, equipping families, and building a thriving volunteer team. This person will partner with parents to disciple kids in a way that is fun, safe, and rooted in truth.

Key Responsibilities:Lead the vision and strategy for Southridge Kids in alignment with the overall mission of Southridge Church.Create a welcoming and engaging experience each Sunday that includes worship, teaching, activities, and small groups for all age levels.Recruit, train, and empower volunteers to serve with joy, safety, and excellence.Equip and support parents as the primary spiritual leaders of their children through resources and communication.Oversee safety and check-in procedures, maintaining a secure environment for all children and volunteers.Plan and lead special events, including VBS, family worship Sundays, parent/child dedications, and seasonal outreach opportunities.Collaborate with church staff to integrate children's ministry into the broader life of the church.Manage the children's ministry budget, supplies, and classroom setup.

Qualifications:A growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Experience working with children in a church or educational setting.Ability to recruit, develop, and lead volunteers effectively.Creative and fun approach to sharing biblical truth with kids.Familiarity with curriculum and ability to adapt it for different age groups.Background check required.

Bonus Qualities:Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Mandarin)Experience with Planning Center, ProPresenter, or similar church tools.Degree or coursework in education, ministry, or child development.
