Position: Full-time Camp ManagerSalary: 42,000 – 50,000 per year including housing and utilitiesResumes are being accepted at: [email protected] Camp Manager Job Description:Basic Function:Serve as the manager of the Bambi Lake Retreat and Conference Center in residence at the camp. The camp manager is responsible for the administration of the camp and for assuring the care, safety and protection of campers.Qualifications:Must be 21 years of ageMust be a committed Christian, a member of a local church and doctrinally in agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. Must have proven experience and skill in working with church leaders.Possesses a contagious Christian testimonyMust have experience in camp settingsProfessional Qualifications:Have administrative/management experience in organized camp or similar programAn undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.Skilled in strategic thinking and planning, budgeting, team building and personal development as an individual.Specific Duties:Oversee the total operations of the camp facility including lodging facilities, food services, housekeeping, registration, bookkeeping, maintenance and public relations.Working with the trustees, plan and manage an annual budget. Recruit and manage all salaried, hourly and volunteer personnel.Oversee the scheduling and registration of events and campers.Provide for an "on call" availability for a staff member during camp eventsAnticipate and strategize with Trustees to meet future needs for upkeep and improvement of camp facilities. Relate to all local, township and state government agencies.Submit all financial, attendance reports and other information/data to the trustees as requested.
