NOTE: This job announcement is for counselors located over 2 hours' driving distance from Fulton, MD.

CentrePointe Counseling is seeking licensed mental health professionals (LCPCs, LCSW-Cs, LCMFTs or equivalent license) for remote (video-based) counseling work to join our non-profit, Christian practice as W2 and contract counselors. The work is commission-based with opportunities to build the equivalent of full or part-time caseloads.

Our mission at Centrepointe Counseling is to provide Christ-centered, professional counseling and consultation services that work for the transformation of individuals, families and organizations. Our practice has served Maryland's individuals and church communities since the 1980s. We are a group of 20+ Christian/pastoral counselors who believe in providing affordable counseling to all. Our staff counselors form the core community of our practice. We are seeking remote contract counselors to help further our mission to provide accessible and affordable mental health therapy to a wider area as well as to supplement work in Maryland and its neighboring states and DC.

Job Description

Job Skills & Work Requirements:

• Effectively integrate Christian/Pastoral (spiritually-integrated) Counseling into clinical interventions
• Provide individual and family counseling services in your area(s) of expertise.
• Work a minimum of 10 client hours per week
• Join (by video streaming) monthly administrative staff meetings, to stay up-to-date on EHR usage and billing issues
• Possess skills and discipline to meet administrative standards towards treatment and billing, e.g., maintaining electronic health records, scheduling, timely interactions with potential clients, note-taking submissions, treatment plan requirements and submissions, and others.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills for interactions with clients
• Independently advertise and build relationships in your community
• Stay current on ethics/laws and license for your state of residence, as a LCPC/LPC, LCSW-C, or LCMFT (or state-licensed equivalent)
• Professional online presence and communication style
• *W2 remote Counselors will be required to be licensed in Maryland, and contract counselors may be required to be licensed in Maryland if interested in building caseloads.
