The Ideal Candidate for this Role:
Is a growing follower of JesusHas demonstrated commitment to Jesus through commitment to a local churchIs a team player and collaboratorIs highly organized and detail-orientedIs proficient with spreadsheets, Quickbooks and financial reportsIs an excellent communicator, verbally and in writingHas demonstrated effective leadership and management of church finances, facilities and operationsSome Responsibilities of the Church Administrator:
FinancialWork with outside bookkeeping company to ensure the accuracy of financial reportsWork with the Finance Team to ensure the integrity of the financial affairs of the churchCreate and maintain financial documents and reportsReconcile bank statements in conjunction with the Finance TeamProcess payroll for staffPay bills and contractors Maintain all church insurance productsPrepare annual budget in conjunction with Governing Elder Team and Finance TeamFacilitiesOversee maintenance and upkeep of the church facility and groundsMaintain contact and give direction to all companies that provide facility services and maintenance at FirstNSBOversee all information technologyOversee enhancements to the facility and groundsOperations and Church OfficeCoordinate and oversee the use of the facility by groups within and outside the churchMaintain the church calendarManage the church officeDevelop and communicate church policies and proceduresAnswer phone and receive guests to the church office as neededSchedule meetings and pastoral appointments as needed
