Internship Program Overview

During this 1–2-year internship, EBF interns will actively participate in EBF's mission as a Christ-centered community. They'll serve alongside pastors and leaders, gaining hands-on experience in discipleship, leadership, and teaching. Additionally, they'll receive mentorship from EBF pastors and engage with enriching books to grow as children of God and leaders in the Church.

This internship is designed to be a place of training and mentorship for those sensing a call to vocational ministry. It will also bless EBF with more people dedicated to its mission of making disciples and loving people.

Job Description

Expectations for Interns

• Must be a born-again Christian
• Must have some knowledge of scripture and be able to clearly articulate the gospel message.
• Must point others to Christ in how you live.
• Must have a faith that is your own; you cannot lead students where you have not been.
• Must be responsible – it is great to have fun and mess around (especially in youth ministry), but we need to be able to make good decisions, even if it is an uncomfortable decision to make
• Must communicate well – Mistakes will be made. Someone will oversleep, lose a receipt, give the wrong information, etc. Therefore – it is critically important that we communicate often and about almost everything
• Must demonstrate teachability – you are becoming an intern because you want to learn and grow. So be humble, and receive instruction well.
• Must take initiative & grow your work ethic – If you see a need, try and fix it. If you have an idea, bring it up and see if we can implement it. If you feel students need something they aren't getting, take ownership and try to find a solution.
• Must attempt to get along with your co-laborers in ministry, especially those who live with you.
• Must agree with EBF's doctrinal statement
