Brookstone Church is seeking well-qualified candidates for the role of College Pastor located at our Weaverville, NC campus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Connect college students and college age adults within the reach of Brookstone Churchto the life of the body of Christ through small groups, weekly worship, serving andregular ministry specific services.

Strategize the engagement of college students at local college campuses, high schoolgraduates who attend college far away and college-age adults not attending college.

Foster growing, discipleship oriented relationships with students and college ageadults.

Recruit, train, and develop volunteers to lead small groups and start new groups.

Grow the team of volunteers. This includes investing in the established leadership teamthrough discipleship and vision meetings as well as recruiting new volunteers to furtherthe growth of the ministry.

Teach the word of God in various settings. This includes services held for young adultstwice a month as well as in Lifegroups or school club events at the various schoolsrepresented (FCA, Sports Teams, etc...).

Develop a teaching plan and series timelines for Young Folk services

Plan, strategize, implement and execute events over the course of the year. includes Summer Schedule, Back to School Events, Retreats, etc....

Adjust, manage, and implement a yearly budget.

Shepherd the body of Christ alongside the pastoral team on Brookstone Church staff.

Specific seasonal pastoral responsibilities as necessary and when assigned.

Working well with the members of the Next Gen team as well as thegreater staff teamBe a part of Lifegroups at Brookstone, either leading a group or attending one on aregular basisClean, orderly appearance throughout the week during work hours and on SundaymorningsWilling to step into Youth Culture several times over the course of the year to beginmaking relationships with Seniors getting ready to step into Young Folk.

ACCOUNTABILITY:The College Pastor reports to the Next Gen Pastor

SALARY:A competitive salary commensurate with experience will be provided to include paidvacation

HOURS:Monday-Thursday 9AM-5PM, Sunday 8am-12:30pm, various evening and weekendcommitments depending on church programs and events
