Communication and Ministry Support Specialist

Job Overview

The Communications and Ministry Support Specialist will be a passionate, self-starting individual who willl promote the goals of The Banquet Network across various platforms including our website, social media, and other marketing channels. The individual will also facilitate partnerships with like-minded individuals and organizations.

Job Description

Oversee website content, functionality, and updates. Conduct SEO maintenance and monitor website performance. Work towards strategic improvements to enhance the user experience and expand the mission reach.

Optimize Google Ads campaign daily by creating new campaigns and ad groups, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and Google Ad Grant standards. Monitor performance data and improve outcomes

Develop and schedule engaging posts and blogs that reflect TBN's mission.

Assist with development and fundraising efforts

Draft and distribute organization newsletters and updates.

Manage daily communications, including email correspondence and church inquiries.

Maintain organizational systems and files for ongoing administrative needs.

Assist in the development and maintenance of the online video training library.

Engage with followers, church partners, and disability ministry networks to build community and increase partnerships.

Report regularly to the Chairman of the board.

QUALIFICATIONS

The candidate must be thoroughly committed to The Banquet Network's mission and values and should

demonstrate a mature Christian faith evidenced by good standing and involvement in a local church.

Candidate should possess a strong commitment to accessibility and advocacy for people with disabilities.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

Passionate, positive, accountable, creative, self-directed

Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading

Ability to set and achieve strategic objectives

Minimum education: Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, administration, or ministry-related field

Experience in any of the following:

communications, marketing, public relations, operations, administration, or ministry support.

Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and presentation skills

Applied understanding (or ability to learn) backend operations for website, social media, and other technologies such as

Google Ads, Canva, Zeffy, Zoom, etc. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
