POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Connections Pastor is responsible for providing leadership over creating connecting opportunities for people at Crossbridge Church through interpersonal relationships, programmed events, classes and Community Groups to move from attending to being fully connected into the life of the church. The role includes training, teaching, coaching, equipping and modeling ministry, providing pastoral care and communicating the mission and vision of Crossbridge Church.

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and direct a strong Community Group ministry, fostering retention, leadership multiplication and missional focus.
• Oversee the Guest Services and Welcoming ministry teams on Sunday Morning to ensure a hospitable environment.
• Develop and direct the process/systems that quickly follows up with and moves first time guests to being fully connected into the life of Crossbridge. (Engagement Pathway)
• Teach and train at Group leadership events regularly scheduled throughout the year.
• Oversee the Women's Director and Guest Services Directors who are on staff part time.

QUALIFICATIONS

• College degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience, specifically in the realm of leading and coaching Small Groups.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and follow through.
