Blast It All Midwest Corp, a customer satisfaction leader in the field and fast-growing commercial/industrial floor preparation contractor serving the Chicagoland area, founded in 1993.  Provides services to several different construction related industries.

Seeking a Construction Equipment Maintenance Mechanic to join the West Chicago, IL office. This key position will facilitate maintenance and repairs at the facility in West Chicago and out in the field.

Compensation starting at $65,000/Commensurate with experience

Duties:

•         Day to day maintenance and repairs of diesel, propane and electric powered equipment and machinery
•         Ordering and management of parts and supplies
•        Maintain warehouse organization and optimization
•        General maintenance as needed and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

•         Electrical experience in 3 phase power
•         Diesel and gas engine maintenance and minor repairs including:
  •     Problem diagnosis and repairs
  •     Light Vehicle maintenance
  •     Implementation of equipment customizations
•        General electro-mechanical repairs – some knowledge of gearbox operation is preferred
•        Light welding – MIG experience is preferred but not required
•        Light machining experience is preferred but not required
