Counselor / Social Worker – Woman’s New Life Clinic

Woman’s New Life Clinic invites applications for a part-time professional counseling position in Baton Rouge office. Applicants must demonstrate proficiencies in providing crisis counseling, assessment, counseling and intervention services specific to women and couples experiencing crisis pregnancy, post-traumatic stress, grief and/or depression following an abortion or pregnancy loss, adoption questions, fertility concerns, and other related behavioral and emotional issues. Applicant must be willing to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in a mental health related field (psychology, social work, counseling, rehabilitation counseling) with at least one year experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual (able to read, write and speak Spanish proficiently), Licensure in counseling field with two or more years of clinical experience working with women.
