Job Title: Creative Arts and Worship Pastor Location: The Neighborhood Church, Tualatin, Oregon Job Type: Part-Time Reports to: Lead Pastor

Job Summary:

The Neighborhood Church is seeking a passionate and Spirit-led Creative Arts and Worship Pastor to lead our church in Christ-centered worship and to cultivate a culture of creativity in music that glorifies God. This role is responsible for the planning, execution, and oversight of all worship services and creative expressions at The Neighborhood Church ensuring that everything we do communicates the gospel clearly and excellently.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Worship Leadership:

• Lead and oversee all aspects of worship services, including music, media, tech team, and other creative elements
• Recruit, develop, and disciple worship/tech team members and volunteers
• Select biblically sound, spiritually rich music that aligns with the church's mission and culture
• Prepare and lead rehearsals to ensure excellence and unity among team members
• Facilitate an environment of worship that engages the congregation and glorifies God

Creative Oversight:

• Work with pastoral staff to design and implement creative elements (video, visuals, lighting, set design, etc.) that enhance sermon series, events, and services
• Oversee and direct branding and communication efforts (print, digital, web, social media)
• Collaborate on ideas that creatively communicate the gospel and church vision

Production and Technology:

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of audio, visual, and lighting equipment
• Train and schedule production volunteers (sound techs, slides/media, livestream, etc.)

Pastoral Care and Leadership:

• Provide spiritual leadership and mentorship to team members
• Participate in pastoral responsibilities as needed (prayer, counseling, visitation, etc.)
• Support and contribute to the overall mission and vision of The Neighborhood Church

Qualifications:

• A growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and alignment with the mission and doctrine of The Assemblies of God.
• A heart for worship and a passion to lead others into the presence of God
• Ideally this position is a bi-lingual one, with worship being led in Spanish and English as is currently the case in our fellowship.
• Proven experience in worship leading, creative arts, and team development
• Proficient in vocals and at least one instrument
• Strong creative, organizational, and communication skills
• Familiarity with worship software and technology (e.g., Planning Center, ProPresenter, Easy Worship, etc.)
• A team player with a servant's heart and pastoral mindset
• Songwriting experience and passion (preferred but not required)
• Degree in Worship Ministry, Music, Theology, or related field (preferred but not required)
• Credentials with the Assemblies of God (preferred but not required)

Compensation: Includes housing, utilities, and a part time stipend. No health benefits at this time.
