This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a passion for connecting people to the work of the ministry.

Located in State College, PA, this full-time position involves regular office hours, some travel for events, and the flexibility to respond to ministry needs as they arise.

Description:

This role supports the Chief Advancement Officer by managing donor systems, organizing schedules, maintaining fundraising tools, and fostering donor relationships. Key tasks include updating CRMs, coordinating communications, planning donor outreach, and ensuring effective stewardship. With a heart for ministry, this position is essential to building strong donor engagement and advancing the organization's mission.

Required Skills:

A strong Christian testimony; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational skills; not deterred by rejection; computer literate and able to learn computer programs quickly; in-depth understanding and philosophical alignment with Pure Freedom ministries, resources, and live events; willingness to listen and learn; ability to think creatively and analytically

Compensation:

Based on experience.

Work Environment:

Most of the work will be done in the Pure Freedom offices in State College, Pennsylvania with regular office hours being 8 am to 5 pm. Some travel will be required to help with events or other ministry needs

Hours:

This is a full-time professional position with hours as needed to accomplish ministry opportunities. One business day is to be taken off after road trips to rest and refuel the day immediately following your return. The team vacation policy applies.

Responsible To:

Reports to the Chief Advancement Officer.

Tasks:

  • Assist Chief Advancement officer in the building of a robust development system.
    • Maintain important files of history of finances, projects, systems, etc. and implement a mentality for the team to keep files in google up to date and organized.
    • Coordinate calendar for CAO, acting as first line of communication for scheduling requests and setting up meetings caring for them with the love of Jesus.
    • Act as a proxy to respond to emails, responding in a professional tone and clarity, with an awareness that everyone we work with is not yet a believer in Jesus Christ and communication can be a stepping stone to Him.
    • Assist with projects as needed such as editing, writing, or quickly collecting data/reports on short notice.
    • Trouble-shoot any unexpected issues that come up in a timely manner, such as resolving technology issues or handling last minute changes in travel arrangements.
    • Implement and maintain procedures for strong donor engagement and stewardship.
    • Anticipate needs before they arise, providing plans, documents, and reports.
  • Assist with fundraising communications.
    • Maintain fundraising pages updating as needed and create new ones as needed ensuring they are working and the page speed is fast.
    • Update monthly the emails that donors receive as their receipts.
    • Ensure that year-end gift receipts are mailed to donors appropriately.
    • Create and scrub mailing lists for all mailings.
  • Manage the CRM (Keap, Kindful, and Donor Direct) to ensure quality information and data and ongoing communication systems.
    • Create and maintain donor records in the donor database.
    • Support frontline fundraisers with assigned data entry and actions based on the moves management system.
    • Conduct data imports so all information is up-to-date and accurate.
    • Keep fundraising pages up-to-date and create new ones as needed.
    • Update monthly the emails that donors receive as their receipts.
    • Ensure that year-end gift receipts are mailed to donors appropriately.
    • Create and scrub lists for all mailings.
  • Develop relationships with our regular ongoing donors.
    • Regularly send notes thanking donors and updating them on the current state of the ministry.
    • Develop and execute a plan for moving one-time to monthly and major donors as appropriate.
    • Assist with planning and execution of fundraising events and special projects.
    • Communicate with donors customer service needs within 12 hours of being received.
  • Maintain reporting scorecard that displays the activities and health of development plans.
    • This includes but is not limited to new donors, donor retention, total donors, donors increasing their giving, and the number of recurring donors.
    • Ensure timely reports for contacts and KPI's for fundraising.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
