The Develeopment Director will also be a member of the executive leadership team, participating in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating models, and operational execution.

This is a Monday-through-Friday position during regular business hours with evening and weekend hours occasionally required. Lahai Health is a low income, comprehensive, primary-care clinic in King and Snohomish County. Services include integrated and comprehensive, medical, dental and mental health counseling. Purpose
The Development Director provides leadership and management for the direction, planning, and execution of fundraising and development-related activities for Lahai Health. The Develeopment Director will also be a member of the executive leadership team, participating in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, operating models, and operational execution.
Hours: Full-time 40 hours/week, Exempt
Salary: $60k – $75k Annual, based on experience
Summary of Benefits: Lahai offers somewhat flexible work hours and a hybrid work environment for most positions. Lahai provides comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance to all exempt and non-exempt employees working more than 30 hours per week. Lahai offers a voluntary 401K retirement plan to all full/part-time employees who are 21 years of age and older who are eligible to participate. PTO is accrued at a rate of .057 per hour for employees working over 20 hours per week and .025 for employees working less than 20 hours per week. Lahai recognizes 11 paid holidays and holiday pay is pro-rated based on the numbers of hours you are regularly scheduled to work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fundraising
· Work with the Executive Director to develop the Lahai Health's annual fundraising strategies. Design, implement and execute all fundraising activities, including annual giving, special projects, fundraising events, and other clinic-related solicitations.
· Lead, manage, and implement all strategies and activities for donor cultivation, solicitation, and relations.
· Secure financial support from individuals, foundations, churches, businesses, and corporations.
· Manage the organizations donor database and support staff responsible for data/gift entry.
· Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with major donors.
· Research and develop proposals for planned giving, endowment, and capital campaigns, within organizational strategic priorities.
· Represent and promote the work of Lahai Health in the community through public speaking at churches, mission fairs, and fundraising events.
· Oversee the planning of two to three annual fundraising events.
· Work collaboratively with administration team to plan, write, and submit grant proposals to foundations and corporations.
Board/Volunteer Relations
· Develop and provide fundraising training for the Board and other development volunteers.
· Provide development reports to the Board and the Executive Director.
· Work collaboratively with the Board, Executive Director, and Coordinator of Volunteers to identify and train a core group of volunteers to assist with fundraising and special events.
Public Relations, Marketing and Advertising
· Oversee the production and development of all collateral materials including but not limited to quarterly newsletters, marketing brochures, annual reports, the website, and fundraising materials.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Education: Bachelor's degree required.
EXPERIENCE:
· Proven experience in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to meet goals.
· A minimum of two years fundraising experience preferred.
PROFICIENCIES:

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Highly organized with strong attention to detail and good judgment in establishing priorities and problem solving.
