Provide residential care and training to adults who have developmental disabilities.

Agape Christian Homes (ACH) was founded in 1989 by a group of parents with children who had developmental disabilities, and were concerned with their care after they could no longer care for them. These parents came together with the shared dream of establishing residential homes to care for adults with developmental disabilities. However, not conventional care, but care in a loving home environment that fostered support and independence to assist each person in reaching their highest potential. Their dream was first realized with the opening of the Senasac Home in Long Beach in 1993, and the first resident is still with them today. The second home was acquired in 2000, the Clark Home, also in Long Beach, and was established as a women’s home, leaving the Senasac Home to become an all men’s home.
